If you are anything like me, you probably like to make sure that any restaurant you eat at with the kids is family-friendly. While many national chains, like the Olive Garden, are kid-friendly, it’s sometimes hard to know which local eateries are appropriate for families with kids. Here are my favorites:
Stone Hearth Pizza: With locations in Cambridge, Needham, and Belmont, Stone Hearth Pizza is a great place to take the kids. They support local farming, and offer high-quality, fresh ingredients and delicious food.
Acapulcos: This is my kids’ favorite restaurant, and with 13 nearby locations, chances are, there is one near you. The food is great, and the atmosphere is lots of fun.
Full Moon: Although I’ve never been there, one of my Twitter followers suggested this Cambridge eatery.
In a Pickle: It’s small and can be crowded, but nothing can beat the delicious menu choices at this Waltham cafe. Snickers Pancakes anyone?
The New Haven legendary Frank Pepe Pizzeria finally opened its first Boston area location in Chestnut Hill. The waits can be long, so go early, late, or prepare to wait. Plenty of family-friendly booths and food options.
What are your favorite family-friendly restaurants in the Boston area? I received some other great suggestions via Twitter, and will incorporating them into another post soon.
