Mark your calendar for Flooky and the Beans, a kids’ musical group that will perform at 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on June 12 at Franklin Park Zoo! The performances are free with paid Zoo admission. Flooky and the Beans is a popular children’s music group. Flooky is a future thinking robot obsessed with technology who meets up with Emma Bean, JoJo Bean, Peppi Bean and Bobo Bean. As they discover their mutual love for music, Flooky becomes their scientist of sound and together they seek to build a better world as performed in an engaging hour of musical entertainment for kids of all ages with a focus on the 3-8 year old age range. June 19 – A Wild Affair at Stone Zoo (5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.)
A Wild Affair is a “tasting” event that will feature stations hosted by local restaurants and caterers – as well as live entertainment, a silent auction and an opportunity to stroll among the animals. Last year’s sold-out event attracted more than 600 guests and this year promises to be even bigger! Proceeds from A Wild Affair support the operation and continued growth of Stone Zoo, including its education programs and conservation initiatives.
