Evening Snowshoe Adventure by Candlelight and Stars for Families
Broadmoor on a winter night is magic! Come explore with us on snowshoes or hike if there is not enough snow. The quiet crispness of a winter night will be illuminated by the flickering light of candelaria as we listen for owls and other night sounds. Along the way, we will watch for stars and constellations in the winter sky. We will end the adventure with snacks together in a gathering circle. Pre-registration required.

6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Full Moon Owl Prowl for All Ages
Ever wondered if an owl really is as smart as they say? Why don’t we hear them when they fly? Just how far can an owl see? Come with the whole family under the moon to learn about owl calls, behavior and habitat and search for our frequent evening owl visitors, the screech owl and great horned owl. Pre-registration required.
