What: On today, Saturday, Dec. 17, Bruegger’s Enterprises and Timothy’s World Coffee will celebrate the opening of the first co-located café in the U.S. From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., the new Timothy’s will offer a free cup of coffee for all, live music, great deals on K-Cups and whole bean coffee, and – most importantly – a fundraiser for its neighbor Mass Audubon.

At the event, West Roxbury neighbors can enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Timothy’s coffee on the house, made from one of the café’s eight premium blends. In return, guests are asked to donate their spare change (or more) to Mass Audubon, to help the non-profit care for its 34,000 acres of conservation land in Massachusetts, provide educational programs for children and adults and advocate for sound environmental policies at the local, state and federal level. The organization’s 64-acre Boston Nature Center is located just a few miles away.

During the grand opening event, the new Timothy’s will also offer specials on its extensive K-Cup selection, made exclusively for Keurig Brewing Systems, and whole bean coffee from some of the world’s finest coffee bean producers.

When: Saturday, December 17 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Regular hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily)
