There’s snow on the ground, and it seems like summer will never be here. But, now is the time to find the perfect summer camp for your kids – the best camps will fill up soon!
If you’ve got some flexibility in your schedule (i.e., you don’t need full day care) consider checking out summer camp programs at the New England Aquarium, Museum of Science, Mass Audubon, YMCAs, and local farms. These camps are usually for only part of the day, but can be lots of fun for the kids.
For full day camps, here are a few choices:
- Linx at Elm Bank in Wellesley is our camp of choice. My kids both went last year, and loved it. It’s so well run, and organized.
- Hale Day Camp – located in Westwood, has camp for kids aged 4-15.
- Camp West Woods – located in Stoughton, offers programs from kids aged 3-10.
- Marcus Lewis Day Camp – in Devens/Harvard, offers loads of different programs, including jewelry making, tennis, and horseback riding.
